Naftali Yehuda Horowitz , the Bostoner Rebbe, is an American chassidic rabbi , son of the late Grand Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Horowitz , the Bostoner Rebbe, a scion of the Boston Hasidic dynasty . Rabbi Horowitz, has been the Rabbi of Congregation Beth Pinchas in Brookline, Massachusetts since 1980 when he was ordained by Bais Medrash Gevoha "Lakewood Yeshiva", in Lakewood, New Jersey and Tshebin Yeshiva of Jerusalem . He also serves as Director of R.O.F.E.H. - Reaching Out Furnishing Emergency Healthcare, a community based medical referral and hospitality liaison support agency founded by his father. The Bostoner Rebbe in his late father's Synagogue in Jerusalem An acknowledged and accomplished Torah scholar, his combination of compassion for each and every Jew and his incisive mind and analytical skills make him much sought out as a counsellor. He is also widely known throughout the Jewish communities of Boston and New York as a highly skilled mohel , ritual circumsiser. Congregation Beth Pinchas is part of the New England Chassidic Center , an umbrella organization providing religious and community services throughout the Boston area. Horowitz, a son-in-law of the late Uheler Rov Rabbi Shalom HaCohen Weiss, is related through the marriages of his children to many luminaries of the Chassidic world including the Slonimer Rebbe of Jerusalem and the Sadigura Rebbe of Bnei Brak together with the Mattesdorfer Rebbe and Unsdorfer Rov of New York. His elder brother HaRav HaGaon Pinchos Dovid HaLevi is the Chuster Rov of Borough Park, Brooklyn , his other brother HaRav HaGaon Mayer Alter HaLevi is the leader of the Bostoner Community in Har Nof , Jerusalem . and his sisters are married to the Vialopola Rebbe of Flatbush, Brooklyn and Dayan Moshe Chaim Geldzheler of Jerusalem. Following the traditional seven day mourning period after the death of his father The Bostoner Rebbe on December 5 in Jerusalem, Rabbi Horowitz was acclaimed as the new Bostoner Rebbe by the great majority of the Chassidim [followers] of his father. At the lechayim, the congratulatory reception, two elders of the late Rebbe's congregation in Har Nof , Jerusalem spoke warmly of the new leader of the Chassidus who then responded.1
