㉓ Reviewed in the sweep
The Alexandroni Brigade is an Israel Defense Forces brigade that has fought in many of Israel's wars. The opening carried this line in 2005 and still carried it as of the October 6, 2023 snapshot: Teddy Katz received an A+ grade from Haifa University in 1998 for a thesis which claimed that the Alexandroni Brigade committed a massacre in the Arab village of Tantura during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. Today the opening carries none of this, though the word survives 17 times elsewhere in the article. A reader arriving now learns only that the brigade fought in Israel's wars, and not that a Haifa University thesis alleged it committed a massacre at Tantura.
