Hish (Hebrew: חי״ש, a Hebrew acronym for Heil HaSadeh (Hebrew: חיל השדה), lit. Field Corps) was a corps formed by the Haganah in the British Mandate of Palestine in 1939, following the disbandment of the smaller mobilized force known as the Posh. It was the Haganah's main surface corps, alongside Him and the Palmach.

Hish was the Haganah's main surface corps, the pre-state Jewish defense militia in Mandatory Palestine. Through 2010 the opening said its Plugot Meyuhadot special companies were formed "to wage a counter terror war against the Arabs." Today the opening carries no mention of that counter-terror mission; the word survives once elsewhere in the article. A reader today learns Hish was the Haganah's main surface corps alongside Him and the Palmach, and not that its special units were created specifically to counter terror attacks.
