The October 2023 opening said the concept "may be inspired by, or give rise to, prejudice against Jews, by possible parallels to antisemitic canards such as world domination, controlling the media and dual loyalty." Today's opening describes only what the lobby is and does, without this caveat; antisemitism survives 16 times elsewhere in the article. A reader today does not learn, from the opening, that the term "Israel lobby" has been linked to antisemitic conspiracy tropes.
