A Palestinian suicide bombing on a Jerusalem bus in the Kiryat Menachem neighborhood in 2002 murdered 11 people and injured over 50; Hamas claimed responsibility. In 2005 the opening called it the Jerusalem bus 20 massacre. Today the word massacre is gone from the article entirely, and the attack carries no name beyond 'a Palestinian suicide bombing.' A reader arriving now learns 11 people were murdered, not that the attack was named the Jerusalem bus 20 massacre.
