Roi Klein (Hebrew: רועי קליין; IPA: [ʁoˈʕi klain]; July 10, 1975—July 26, 2006) was an Israeli major in the Golani Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces and one of its most highly decorated soldiers. He died during the 2006 Lebanon War, during the Battle of Bint Jbeil, after jumping on a grenade to save his fellow soldiers.

Through 2010 the opening noted that in 2002, Klein received a Chief of Staff Citation for his conduct during an ambush near Nablus in which 5 terrorists were killed. Today's opening covers only his 2006 death, with the citation and ambush gone, though terror survives twice elsewhere in the article. A reader today does not learn that Klein was decorated for an ambush near Nablus in which five terrorists were killed.
