Al-Baraa ibn Malik al-Ansari ( ) was one of the Sahaba , an Ansar from Banu Khazraj .1 He is the brother of Anas ibn Malik .2 He was well known for his bravery, engaging in numerous conflicts until he was martyred in 640 at the battle of Tustar while fighting the forces of the Persian Empire .3
