Baha Abu al-Ata

Baha Abu al-Ata, a leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, killed by Israel in a 2019 targeted strike. The 2020 opening called him a Palestinian terrorist organization leader. The opening today calls him a Palestinian militant leader, and the word appears nowhere in the article. A reader today does not learn that Wikipedia's own opening once identified him as the leader of a terrorist organization rather than a militant leader.

Baha Abu al-Ata ( ; 25 November 1977 – 12 November 2019) was a leader of Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine (PIJ). On 12 November 2019, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) killed Abu al-Ata and his wife in a targeted killing , four of their children and a neighbour were also reportedly injured. The killings triggered clashes between Israelis and Palestinians . Khalil Bathani became the new leader of PIJ.
