Through 2015 the opening reported that his son Yonatan, former commander of Sayeret Matkal, was killed in action leading the Entebbe hostage rescue. Today the opening still names Yonatan as Sayeret Matkal's ex-commander but drops how and where he died, though hostage survives once in the body. A reader today learns that Yonatan commanded Sayeret Matkal, not that he died leading the 1976 Entebbe hostage rescue.
