Central Zionist Archives ( CZA ; Hebrew : (הארכיון הציוני המרכזי (אצ"מ ) is an archive in Jerusalem , Israel , housing the historical archives of the Zionist movement from 1880-1970 and documenting the growth of the Zionist movement throughout the world.1Amongst the important archives stored in the repository are those of the World Zionist Organization , the Jewish Agency , the Jewish National Fund and Keren Hayesod , as well as the archives of the World Jewish Congress .2The CZA also holds the private papers of individuals active in the Zionist movement and the development of Palestine and Israel. The archive houses over half a million photographs, 50,000 maps and plans, over 18,000 posters and announcements, a large collection of ephemera, 13,000 newspapers and periodicals, a library and a microfilm collection. The Steven Spielberg Jewish Film Archive, with over 3,000 film and video titles, is located in the CZA. The archive also has a large stamp collection and a vast store of genealogical material. The archive was established in Berlin in 1919, then the seat of the Zionist Executive. In 1933, it was moved to the National Institutions building in Jerusalem. A permanent home was built in November 1987, near Binyanei HaUma in Jerusalem's Romema neighborhood, opposite the Jerusalem Central Bus Station .3
