Fadak was Mohammed's p.b.u.h personal property, after the prophets's death Lady of the Paradise Fatima Zahra a.s demanded the property of the muslim caliph of the time (Abu Bakr). Abu BAkr refused to give Fatima the property saying that Prophets do not inherit. Fatima was very angry about this and quoted a saying of the prophet " Whosoever Hurts Fatima has Hurted me". Fatima never spoke to Abu Bakr again and made a will that he (abu bakr) and Umar (2nd muslim caliph) should not be alowed to attend her funeral.1
