Giv'at Avni ( ) is a communal settlement in the Lower Galilee Regional Council , Israel .1The village is adjacent to the Sea of Galilee and Tiberias .2The village was founded in 1991 by the Lower Galilee Regional Council . It has an elementary school called "Aley Giva". The village is named after Shlomo Aven, a former general manager of the Ministry of Construction and Housing who helped in the establishment of the village. Construction of the village was divided into three development stages - the last one is still being built. The village consists of about 2,100 residents and about 600 families. v t e3
