Gothenburg Synagogue

The Gothenburg Synagogue in Sweden was firebombed in December 2017 while a youth event was underway inside. Through October 6 2023 the opening said 'The attack was condemned as antisemitic by mayor Ann-Sofie Hermansson.' Today the opening describes only the building's architecture and history, with the word surviving twice elsewhere in the body. A reader today learns the synagogue was designed by August Krüger in 1855 and not that it was firebombed in 2017 in an attack the city's mayor called antisemitic.
