Jewish Labour Movement (JLM), known as Poale Zion (Great Britain) from 1903 to 2004, is one of the oldest socialist societies affiliated to the UK Labour Party . As of 2019, it is a member of the progressive coalition of Avodah / Meretz / Arzenu / Ameinu within the World Zionist Organisation . It is a sister party of the Israeli Labor Party (Havodah), and also supports Meretz in Israel.1 It is affiliated to the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland . Its objects are to maintain and promote Labour or Socialist Zionism as the movement for self-determination of the Jewish people within the state of Israel, and to support, develop and promote political activists who work to enable the objects and values of the Jewish Labour Movement.
