Lipótváros Synagogue was a planned but never realized monumental Budapest synagogue , which would have been built at the beginning of the 20th century and would have been a faithful reflection of the growing and enriching Jewry of Budapest with a capacity of 3,800 people.1 In the end, the building was not completed due to financial difficulties, its existence is only told by contemporary blueprints and newspaper articles.2
