Nachshon presented the results of the Israeli voting in Eurovision Song Contest for the years 2009 - 2017.2 In 2017 , he caused a minor scandal when, while reading the Israeli jury points, he announced that that would be the last of the Israel Broadcasting Authority 's broadcasts of Eurovision. This was incorrectly interpreted around the world as Israel's complete withdrawal from international contest.3
