Pir chandam Hazrat Shaheed Pir Chandam (Daado sain) was a great scholar, hafiz , pleasant reciter of the Quran , and a devoted saint . His shrine is located near Dakhan district, Shikarpur, Sindh . He was a follower of Baha-ud-din Zakariya of Multan from where he got certificate of religious teachings ayat and hadees. Gous Baha-ud-din Zakariya awarded him degree of his follower. When Lal Shahbaz Qalander visited Baha-ud-din Zakariya in Multan, Qalandar asked him to give him such pious persons for preaching of Islam in Sindh, then Baha-ud-din Zakariya handed over his own son Abdul Wahaab and Shaheed Pir Chandam to Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. Abdul Wahab lived with Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and his grave is south of the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, while Shaheed Pir Chandam visited whole Sindh for preaching of Islam. He settled at Dosu Dara near Naon Dero Larkana where he opened a madrasa for teaching of Islam. He lived a sacred life there and used to take meals cooked by a pious woman, Daadi Uqlaan Buriro, who was his follower. She is buried at gate of shrine of Shaheed Pir Chandam. Shaheed Pir Chandam decided to get married at a village called Kooran Ja Jatoi near Shahdad Kot . While going there to be married, he was martyred in the sake of Allah at Sedu Dero near Naon Dero where there is still shaheed ji qatal gaah . The shrine of Shaheed Pir Chandam is located in north of Madeji near Dakhan.1
