There are two yeshivas with the name Bais Yisroel . This article deals with the Bais Yisroel yeshiva located in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood of Jerusalem , Israel . Founded in 1986 by Rabbi Doniel Lehrfeld, the Yeshiva's student body currently numbers over 200 men, mainly from the United States, Canada, and England.1After splitting off from the Yeshiva Toras Moshe , the Bais Yisroel yeshiva was founded in 1986 by Rabbi Daniel Lehrfeld in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Bayit Vegan . The yeshiva moved from that location to the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Neve Yaakov in 1994. The yeshiva runs a four-year program. It follows the learning cycles of Nashim and Nezikin , with a focus on finishing a tractate of the Talmud each term. The students sleep in dormitories which consist of converted apartments located near the yeshiva. The yeshiva owns and rents more than 10 such apartments yearly.2
