Abd-Allah ibn Jahsh (عبد الله بن جحش)(died 625), also called Abdu ibn Jahsh , was a cousin and companion of Muhammad .' He was the brother of Zaynab bint Jahsh , who married Muhammad . He joined other Muslims in emigrating to Abyssina and later moved to Medina. He was killed in the battle of Uhud by Akhnas ibn Shariq .1
