Aharon Katzir
Aharon Katzir was an Israeli scientist killed in the 1972 terrorist attack on Lod Airport. The 2005 opening said "He was killed in the terrorist attack on Lod Airport in 1972." Today's opening describes him only as a pioneer in electrochemistry and says nothing about his death, though the word terror survives twice elsewhere in the article. A reader today does not learn from the opening that Katzir died in a terrorist attack, or how he died at all.
