former Arab villages in Palestine ' Ajjur' ( ) was a Palestinian Arab village of over 3,700 inhabitants located 24 kilometers northwest of Hebron .1 It was captured by Israel during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war , during which all of its inhabitants fled or were expelled.2 Its lands are now occupied by the following Jewish towns: Agur , Tzafririm , Givat Yeshayahu , Li-On , and Tirosh .3
