Prior to joining The Jerusalem Post , he worked as a TV News producer at the Mail & Guardian television in Johannesburg , South Africa. On April 21 he was promoted to Executive Editor. Mizroch was born in Israel and raised in South Africa, returning to Israel in 2000. He has a Bachelor of Journalism and Media Studies from Rhodes University in Grahamstown , South Africa . Apart from directing the newspaper's news coverage, Mizroch writes stories and analysis for the paper on a regular basis. He keeps his own blog called Forecast Highs. Mizroch won a [1] Certificate of Merit award for Journalism from the B’nai B’rith World Center for his [2] blog on American Jewish communities. Mizroch is a member of the Bertelsmann Stiftung German Israeli Young Leaders Exchange program [3] .1
