Café Moment bombing occurred in Jerusalem on 9 March 2002 at 22:30 PM. A Hamas suicide bomber walked into the cafe at the corner of Aza and Ben-Maimon streets about 100 meters from the prime minister 's residence, and detonated a powerful explosive charge that completely gutted the restaurant. Eleven people were killed and 54 injured, 10 of them seriously. "Bombing shatters illusions in an oasis of civility: The killing of 11 people in a cafe used by liberal Israelis shows no one is safe" .1
