The Race to the Million), an Israeli reality competition show based on the American series The Amazing Race . It featured 12 teams of two with a pre-existing relationship in a race around the world to win ₪ 1,000,000. Starting in Tzukei Yam , racers traveled through Israel , the United States , Mexico , Colombia , Jamaica , Russia , Kyrgyzstan , and Thailand before returning to Israel and finishing in Jerusalem . This season premiered on 21 October 2017 on Channel 2 until 1 November 2017 when the show moved to Reshet 13 , one of two new stations launched following a split of Channel 2, with the finale on 17 March 2018 and was hosted by Ron Shahar. Married parents Evelin and Tohar Haimovich were the winners of this season, while models Daniel Peretz and Eliyahu Shabtai finished second, and married parents Regev and Helen Hod finished third.
