The opening as it read in 2005

Howard Benson is a music producer who has worked with bands such as Sepultura , Motörhead , P.O.D. (producing their multi-platinum album Satellite and their 2003 release Payable On Death), Crazy Town (producing Darkhorse , the band's follow-up to their 2000 multi-platinum record, The Gift Of Game ), Reveille , Blindside , Cold (he produced 2003's Year Of The Spider ), Hoobastank (produced the successful 2004 album The Reason ). Working with him, there's audio engineer Mike Plotnikoff who works a really cool drum sound as described by Cold drummer Sam McCandless : "The band had been playing with Manson and Staind, so I wanted the drums to sound huge," he explains, "like dump trucks falling from the sky. Howard and Mike got that right away, and since it usually takes a week or two to get the drum tracks down, I was blown away." v t e1
