Israel and Vietnam also cooperate in such fields as agriculture, information technology and biotech, and cultural exchanges between the two countries are quite extensive. Vietnam is Israel's largest trading partner in Southeast Asia . On July 23, 2023, Israel and Vietnam celebrated 30 years of bilateral diplomatic relations, and two days later, the two countries signed a free trade agreement.
