Jerusalem Artists House in Rehavia , Jerusalem is an art gallery and exhibit space located in an historic building. It is home to the Painters and Sculptors Association, Jerusalem . The building was the original home of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design , founded in 1906. The first public museum in Israel, a collection that formed the basis of the Israel Museum , established in 1965, was located in this building. The building is a center for exhibitions that present Israeli artists among them are the artists Tova Balman , Sharon Balaban , Uri Assaf , Pinchas Golan , Liat Polotsky , Menachem Selma , Beni Gassenbauer , Hannah Goldberg (artist) and many others. Jerusalem Artists House exhibitions contain local and international artists changing monthly. The exhibitions promote young Israeli artists and often host retrospectives of more well known artists. Since 2001 the National Biennale is hosted there - for registration.1
