Killings and massacres during the 1948 Palestine war
The article's own definition changed. It once opened as “a list of massacres committed during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war” with a stated definition of the word. Today it opens by saying massacres and acts of terror “were conducted by and against both sides” and then describes only “a campaign of massacres and violence against the Arab population”.
