Michael Ted Levin (born October 20, 1978) is an American politician serving as the U.S.1 Representative for California's 49th congressional district since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party , his district covers most of northern coastal San Diego County , as well as a portion of southern Orange County .2 An environmental attorney by occupation, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2018 election .3
