Moment magazine is a popular non-sectarian, politically conservative, religiously liberal Jewish publication produced in the United States.

Moment is an American Jewish magazine. It publishes articles related to Jewish culture, lifestyle, politics, and religion. Moment is not affiliated with any Jewish organization or religious movement , and its articles and columnists represent a diverse range of political views. Moment was founded in 1975 by Elie Wiesel and Leonard Fein . It was named for Der Moment , an independent Jewish newspaper that was published in Warsaw , Poland , between 1910 and 1939. Moment' s editors have included Leonard Fein (1975–1987), Hershel Shanks (1987–2004), and since 2004, Nadine Epstein. Moment co-sponsors the annual Moment-Karma Short Fiction Contest. It also sponsors a social action writing contest for high school students and a book review contest for young readers.
