Tel HaShomer is a district in Gush Dan (Dan Region) in Israel . Tel HaShomer is located south to Ramat Gan and Kiryat Uno and west to Yahud and the Ben Gurion Airport . It is well known for its central Israel Defence Forces base, which contains important installations such as: Lishkat HaGiyus - handles new draftees before they are recruited. Basis Klita uMiyun (Bakum) - Military base for just-recruited soldiers, where they get "militarized" (receive uniforms, basic gear etc) and are alloted to their units.
