Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) is a Palestinian NGO that works to improve the social and economic situation of Palestinian farmers living under Israeli occupation .1 Established in 1986 by agronomists loosely affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), it is one of the oldest non-governmental Palestinian organizations.2 UAWC is a member organization of the Palestinian Environmental NGOs Network (PENGON) and a signatory to the call made by Palestinian civil society for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel until it complies with international law . "One year on: Palestinian civil society calls for boycott, divestment and sanctionsauthor=Appeal, Joint Advocacy Initiative" .3
