Ahmed Raissouni
Ahmed Raissouni is a Moroccan jurist and former head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, closely tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and Morocco's Justice and Development Party. In 2020 the opening called him a 'Moroccan Islamist jurist' and identified the JDP as 'the Moroccan Islamist party.' Today the opening calls him a 'Moroccan Islamic scholar and jurist,' with Islamist gone from the opening entirely. A reader today learns he is an Islamic scholar, not that Wikipedia once classified him and the party he served as Islamist.
