Ali ibn Zainab or "Ali bin al Aas" was a sahaba of Muhammad . He was the son of [[Zainab bint Muhammad]who was the most blessed daughter of rasool e Allah as per sahih hadees of mustarik ul haakim] and Al Aas with whom rasool e Allah remain pleased and openly said this is my son in law who kept his promise and did what he promised to do as per hadees of Sahih Bukhari. Ali bin aas or Ali ibn Zainab was the one who broke the idols by standing on the shoulders rasool e Allah (it was wrongly said that Ali r.a. bin talib was the one who sood on the shoulders of rasool e Allah, this fact can be proved by looking at the respective ages of rasool e Allah and Ali r.a. bin talib at the time of Makkah victory). He remain alive till the caliphate of Umer r.a. and embraced martyrdom in the battle of Yarmok. He was also part of Tabuk and many other holy wars. His sister was Umamah bint Zainabwho was the most dearest to the rasool e Allah as per various sahih ahadiees in bukhari o muslim and mustarik al haakim.1
