He is also known as the spiritual leader and one of the founders of the Forum recruiting Arabic-speaking Christians in the Israel Defense Forces . Naddaf supports the integration of Arabic-speaking Christians in all state institutions, including their army and national service. As a result of that, he has received threats by other Israeli Arabs, even politicians. His oldest son, Jubran, was physically attacked on December 2013 for his activities of his father. On the other hand, he has received the support of current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , the Israeli Ministry of Defense , members of the Knesset and other officials.
