Ja'afar Mahmud Adam (February 12, 1960 – April 13, 2007) was a Nigerian Salafist Islamic scholar and member of Nigeria's Jama'at al Izalat al bid'a wa iqamatus sunnah , a religio-political organisation based in Abuja.1 His teaching aimed at revolutionizing the socio-political and religious life of his people. He prophesied about the Boko-Harram insurgency.2
