Some considered that his name was written upon the shields of the fighting forces of heaven , even though this contradicts the peace in heaven. Representing courage, self control and tolerance; Sariel is a wisdom angel ruling over vision and wisdom. While Sariel represents "guidance" in Sumerian traditions; in Talmud he is an angel of death.
