Rabbi Carlebach served as mashgiach ruchani of the yeshiva and Kollel Gur Aryeh (its post-graduate division) from 1966 to 1978, when he was succeeded by Rabbi Shimon Groner , one of Rabbi Yitzchok Hutner 's trusted disciples.1
