Marid (common mythos) is a djinn related to element water. It is often described as the most powerful type of djinn, and the most arrogant and proud as well. Female or male, its skin is deep blue or green, and its hair always looks wet and wavy, as though underwater. They have great powers over their element and, just like every djinn, they have the ability to grant wishes to mortals, but that would require battle, imprisonment, or just a great deal of plain flattery.1
