Suki Lahav is an Israeli violinist and vocalist who is most known for being a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band from September 1974 to March 1975.1On record, Lahav sang the choir-like vocals on " 4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) " from the album The Wild, The Innocent and The E Street Shuffle and played violin on the epic "Jungleland" from the Born to Run album. In concert, Lahav's violin and vocals were a focal point of Springsteen's shows during this time, such as in perhaps the definitive rendition of " Incident on 57th Street ", performed February 5, 1975, at the Main Point in Bryn Mawr, PA . Lahav's husband Louis was a recording engineer working for Springsteen during this time. They returned to Israel later in 1975, ending her role in the E Street Band.
