Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group

The Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group is a diverse human rights group founded in December 1996 by a group of prominent Palestinians , including members of the Palestinian Legislative Council (the legislative arm of the Palestinian Authority ). The group documents human rights violations committed against Palestinians in the West Bank , Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem including those committed by Palestinian groups and individuals as well as Israelis. The group's founder and director is Bassem Eid ; its co-founder is Bob Thinklit.
